This time, within the lesson i learned about HTML, about what it is, what it stands for and how to use it to create a website.
Basically, HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language and it is like a type of language used to create a website. To create a website, you must first start with < html > to show that what you are writing next is in Hyper Text Markup Language. Every beginning has an end so to end the starting of < html > you need to end it with < /html >.Next will be the head which is something like this < head > and you end with this < /head >. Normally, we always have a < title > to be in the head and to end it, you use < /title >. The last thing would be the < body > and to end it it would be < /body >. So, the whole thing basically look like this
< html >
< head >< title >This is a title< /title >
< /head >
< body >
Hello!
< /body >
< /html >
There are also html tags like < h1 >...< /h1 > which stands for heading 1 and < p >...< /p > which stands for paragraph. There are also html tags with no ending such as < br > which stands for breakline and < hl > which stands for horizontal line. Last but not least, you need to do all that in notebook and save it as anything.html, example thisismywebsite.html.(not that the thisismywebsite does not have any spacing and is all in small letter. Also note that within the <> there is no spacing)Thank you for reading my blog post.

My Second IS Lesson: Forums
In this lesson i learned about forums. Firstly i was told to sign up for my teacher website so that i could participate in the forums. Then there was 3 forums for my class and i was told to do the forum on blogs or website which is better. Then there was a video by Lisa the creator of 2createawebsit.com to guide us along this forum. The video is about Lisa discussing the difference of a website and a blog in her opinion. Well, in my opinion i feel that a website could have more information such as forums but will take a longer and more tedious procedure to have it be put up. As for the blog as mentioned by Lisa is a lot more easier to create and post, so in conclusion i feel that the website is better than the blog.Thank you for reading this post.

My First IS Lesson:The Internet and WWW
This is what i learned in this lesson:
I Learned that the internet was created in 1969 to let scentist contact each other and share informations with each other. But, since the internet was created more and more people use it and has grown to a number of more than 2 mllion users today. There are two ways to connect to the internet.1 way is to use the slow-speed technology and the other way is to use the high-speed connection. Each website has a domain name like :www.abc.com but it also has an IP address which the computer reads it as something like :52.123.469.21 .Next, what is WWW? WWW stands for world wide web which means world wide collections of webpages. Then, there is the web browser like the internet and mozila firefox etc. etc. for you to browse the web. There is also the URL which stands for Uniform Resource Locator. Then there are the 9 basic types of web sites, portal, news, informational, business/marketing, educational, entertainment, advocacy, blog and personal. There is also the guideline to judge the value of a website that is affiliation, audience, authority, contents, currency, design and objectivity.
Last but not least, we need to have netiquette and treat others as you would like them to treat you. That would be the end of my post thank you for reading it.
